Philadelphia built houses on quicksand. Between the 1960s and the 1980s
in the city's Logan section, all the houses were sinking into the ground. The
sidewalk buckled, the walls bulged, the floor arched its back. In one home,
family fault lines rupture pitting Desmond, Abraham, and Frances against each
other in a struggle for survival.
